Two important follow-ups to the Eurovision 2025 debates on the topic of digital sovereignty. The first is the publication on 17/12/2025 of the first version of the guidelines for the use of Artificial Intelligence in the media by the European Commission. This is the first report by the Commission’s expert group tasked with drafting guidelines to be followed by all content service providers and deployers when using artificial intelligence tools.
To access the text of the guidelines, click on the link at the end: This first draft of the Code addresses key considerations for providers and deployers of AI systems generating content falling within the scope of Article 50(2) and (4). https://ec.europa.eu/newsroom/dae/redirection/document/123074

The second important development is that Eurovisioni will participate in the first European conference on TEPs (Trusted European Platforms) to be held in Brussels on 12 and 13 January 2026, entitled “Stars4Media Day XII: Democracy infrastructures, East & West challenges”, whose preliminary programme is available at this address: https://stars4media.eu/news/stars4media-xi-democracy-maison-du-medialab/
